Tulips and Chimneys were commissioned by the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town to design two large windows: one in the east where the sun rises, and the other in the west where the sun sets.

Drawing inspiration from hand-drawn nautical maps, the illustrations were created with ink on paper, and then inverted digitally.
