Magnus designed a short animated segment for ‘The New York Times Presents: The Legacy of J Dilla’ on Hulu.

The animation is meant to convey J Dilla's far-reaching influence on the hip-hop and music industry at large. Layering together textures, hand-drawn lettering, illustrations, patterns, cut-up album covers, and old footage of James Yancey, it serves as an homage to the "weirdness" that is J Dilla's style.
