Norwegian ice cream brand Hennig Olsen pride themselves on their slow churn. The traditional method allows flavours to develop steadily instead of being rushed. I Saw John First created these spinning dioramas to show exactly what goes on inside a barrel while it's churning. The passionfruit waterfall, the cookie dough clouds and all of the flavourful effects were all created in camera, even the collapsing barrel is practical, all adding to the home made ethos of the spot.
